The Sitgreaves Community Development Corporation (SGCDC) mission is to develop partnerships, support programs, and obtain funding to create a path for residents to advance their quality of life from “Survive to Thrive” by serving as a vehicle by which residents, resources, organizations, and businesses can work together to solve problems and improve the quality of life in the service area. The SCDC is committed to developing communities where all residents thrive by taking a systematic approach to public-private partnerships and funding to provide individuals with opportunities to lift themselves out of poverty through sustainable and accessible programs focused on social determinants of health as they arise.

Sitgreaves Community Development Corporation (SGCDC) actively engages in multifaceted initiatives to foster comprehensive Navajo and Apache Counties community development. Our focus areas include enhancing infrastructure and community capacity, investing in social services to address diverse needs, and promoting economic stabilization through workforce housing and childcare support. The SGCDC is committed to addressing housing challenges with specific previous and current initiatives for recovery, transitional, youth, and teacher housing. The SGCDC aims to positively impact the community's future by creating quality, accessible, affordable housing and child development centers, emphasizing a holistic approach to community well-being.
